Guidelines and boundaries exist for our daily physical lives, as do guidelines for our spiritual lives (the real us!) Following guidelines (and keeping within boundaries) results in being safe physically and spiritually. The Bible contains guidelines for our spiritual (& physical) lives and as we choose to go God’s way by accepting the free gift of salvation (forgiveness & being “right” again with God), we are rescued from our lostness, hopelessness, and lack of purpose. Following guidelines provides for a a safe and happy future. Wisdom is realising that, like Thomas the Tank Engine, we stay ‘on the rails’ which is better than being off them!
